Every Friday, Wedding and Party Network will be choosing a theme or color and give you inspirational photos. We want to help give you inspiration for your next event, wedding or party. So, take a look and we hope to give you a bit of inspiration when planning your wedding or party. Our inspirational board will give everyone inspiration for going green. When you think green, you may think of the color or being environmentally friendly. Whatever you think of, there are great ways to incorporate them into your wedding or next party.

When you think of March, you think St. Patrick's Day or the beginning of beautiful weather. March is the color for green with all the blooming flowers and St. Patrick's Day. So, incorporate that into your wedding or party. You can make green floral arrangements and pair it with pink, white or purple accents to make it pop even more. Create a green candy bar, use green party food or add green to your wedding cake or party cake. However, if you interpret "going green" into environmentally friendly you can use all the right resources to make sure you have a Eco-friendly party. E-vites, recyclable invitations, recyclable paper, reusable plates or Eco-friendly party favors will be great for a "green" wedding. So, incorporate green into your next event.

Everything has a meaning. The month of birthdays, holidays and even colors have different meanings that supposedly represent you as a person. They are said to represent who we are and what we stand for as a person. So when deciding your wedding colors, do they describe you and your style? What are all their meanings exactly? Do your favorite colors describe you? We all have one and are drawn to each one for a reason. Here's a fun post on the meanings behind your wedding colors!

Red: Oh red, the color of passion, anger, dramatic and desire. This color represents urges. For example, "I must have this" is a commanding urge. Red is a commanding color. This color can signify immediate gratification too. You are a bold and passionate person. With such a bright color, pair it down with white or black. Even turquoise too! Does this describe you?

Orange: When you think of orange, do you think bright, unique and not many people can wear orange? Orange is actually a toned down version of red. Orange is another power color and can stimulate creativity, enthusiasm and even the craving for food. It also represents the passionate urges like red, except mellowed down. If you are choosing orange for a color, you are truly passionate about what you do. So when used for a wedding, you must be extremely passionate about the person you are about to marry.

Sunny Yellow: Yellow is the color of the sun. Which represents cheerfulness, optimism, vitality and power. It's a beautiful color and can represent that you're truly loyal to your friendships. However, if yellow is your favorite color, it is sometimes interpreted that you like to use "I" a lot. This beautiful color can be paired well with whites, greens, or even navy. So pretty!

Green: First off, green represents money. Which is then interpreted to love. It represents life and abundance, such as trees, leaves or grass. Green represents true love. If you're using this in your wedding, you take more of a modern approach on your wedding or you're taking a more eco-friendly approach. Pair it with hot pink for a fun take or white for a more regal look. A beautiful color for a beautiful wedding.

Beautiful Blue: Blue represents clarity and charm. You like to be understood and are expressionistic in all things. When it comes to blue, different shades of blue can represent different meanings. For example, royal blue can be seen as grand a traditional. It reminds you of ballrooms. While, navy is a truly classical wedding. Blue is a beautiful color that everyone enjoys.

Perfectly Pink: If you're choosing a softer pink, it refers to playfulness and happiness. You have a sense of fun and a special fondness in your heart. A very playful color. However, if you're choosing a hot pink, it represents energy. A sense of girl power. Paired well with a variety of colors, whites, black and even green. Makes for a fun wedding color.

Purple: Purple represents imagination, challenging, mysterious and fantasy. It can inspire people to be a little coy or romantic. Again, different shades of purple can mean different things. Lavender represents soft, dainty and a lady-like personality. You can use these colors in many ways for weddings. Deep purple set the tone for a lavish wedding and pairs well with black or gray. While a lavender can be more of a simple, yet elegant wedding. Either way this color is absolutely beautiful.

White: The meaning of purity. It represents simplicity and spirituality. Such a beautiful, elegant color that can be paired well with many colors. You can take a more traditional take or even a more modern one. White is such an amazing color and is incorporated into everyone's wedding, unless you're going outside the box, with your white wedding dress.

Black: Black is the unknown, unseen, mysterious, sophistication and a strong opinion. It is the opposite of white. If black is your favorite color, you are more reserved. In a wedding, it represents pure sophistication. Black is seen as formal. A color that can be paired with any color and still match is definitely black. You can play it up or down and is a popular color trend in weddings. Looks great in bridesmaid's dresses and even in your wedding decorations.

Do your wedding colors suit you best? All colors mean a variety of things. So choose the one that YOU love the most and that fits your wedding theme. Whatever color you choose will absolutely fit your personality, style and theme of your wedding.

You've found everything you've always dreamed of on your wedding day. Your amazing wedding venue, amazing photographer, reception venue and especially your fairy tale wedding dress. Everything should be perfect on this day, YOUR day! Your about to walk down the aisle to marry the man of your dreams and you want everything to be perfect by showing off exactly who you are and what you as a couple stand for. You've fell in love with each others personality and personal sense of style, so show that off with some fun and unique wedding accessories.

A fun wedding trend is showing off exactly you and your style. Brides are straying away from the traditional whites and going with fun and vibrant accessories that will show off their exact individuality. Here are a few ways to get into this fun wedding trend!

Fabulous, Fabulous Shoes!

You've got the white wedding dress, but what's that underneath peeking out from the bottom? Are those pink shoes? Yes! Show off your favorite color, which is more than likely in your wedding colors. They add for a fun wedding accessory that can show off exactly you! Whether it be heels, flats or even flip-flops, shoes should be exactly what you like and feel most comfortable in.

Wedding shoes are usually seen as white, silver or ivory with beaded work and super uncomfortable. However, shoes are a girl's best friend. Therefore, they should be absolutely fabulous. Pinks, purples, blues, greens or reds will make the perfect wedding statement. What a fun wedding picture, with bright shoes sticking out from underneath your dress! How fun and so you!

The Icing On The Cake

Put the icing on the cake with gorgeous wedding accessories. You've found your dream wedding dress and fun shoes, so now all that's left to do is to find the right jewelry and veil!

Wedding Veils: We are seeing many brides wear all sorts of different wedding veils now to go with their unique wedding dresses they've picked out. They can range from cathedral veils, flyaway, blusher, elbow, ballet, chapel to a blusher style veil. Along with different lengths, they can also feature numerous tiers with different edgings and embellishments. Choose the right veil that you like and fits the style of your dress.

You don't want to have a lot going on at the top and then adding an extravagant veil on top of that. It will take away from the beauty of the dress, it shouldn't overpower it should compliment. While wedding veils are still very popular, brides are tending to not wear one at all. They are adding just a simple touch of a

beautiful flower, feather or crystal piece in their hair. This adds just a simple, yet gorgeous touch that will add a special detail to you.

Wedding Jewelry: This is a good time to incorporate the saying "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed & Something Blue". Borrow some gorgeous vintage jewelry from your mother or grandmother, which can serve as your something old and something borrowed.

Beautiful wedding jewelry can range from simple pearls, statement necklaces or crystallized jewelry. Whatever you choose, just make it you. Jewelery should compliment the dress, not overpower it.

Top off you with gorgeous accessories that will finish off our flawless wedding day look. You should look and feel absolutely stunning on your wedding day. No one should even come close to your natural beauty.

Bridal showers are always fun. They are filled with delicious food, good times and playing a game or two can make them even more fun, especially when the bride-to-be is a little nervous. In some instances, the bride doesn't know many of the  guests and can feel awkward, so playing a fun or meaningful game can help ease the awkwardness. Some commonly used games are crude and embarrassing, so here are some other ideas that will actually be fun for all and will briefly take the focus off the bride-to-be:

1. Don't Say It! -  Each guest is given five small heart-shaped pieces of red paper upon arrival. The rule is that no one can say the word "wedding" during the shower. If someone slips, the first person who hears it gets one of their hearts. At the end of the shower, the person with the most hearts wins a prize.

2. Getting to Know You – In this game, each guest may ask the bride-to-be one question to get to know her better. This is best done as she is opening their present. The question can be about her childhood, who gave her, her first kiss, how she met the groom, the wedding or anything!

3. Pearls of Wisdom – Each guest is given a "pearl" (from a craft store) upon arrival. When the bride-to-be announces who a gift is from, the giver gives one piece of marital wisdom or advice. Someone records each pearl of wisdom in a journal so the bride can keep it and refer back to all the wisdom she was given. The pearls are collected and woven into the bridal bouquet made from the gift bows.

These games will be great fun for your next bridal shower. They'll provide fun memories and take the bride's stress away, while planning her wedding.

If you live in a rural area, you probably pass by them every day. They dot the countryside and add a picturesque view to fields and pastures. Little country churches are everywhere, but many couples dismiss them when planning their weddings. Many are too small to accommodate large wedding attendances. Many don't have the facilities to host an extravagant reception. But before you throw the baby out with the bathwater, consider what small country churches do have.

  1. Charm and elegance. Many churches are simply white, with a modest steeple, but step inside and you find one-of-a-kind stained glass windows, well cared for pews, flooring and quaint furnishings. These features make for a lovely backdrop for a wedding. Not enough room inside? Move the wedding outside under a billowy white tent with the church as the background.
  2. Simplicity. Country churches are usually furnished simply, so you have a blank canvas to work with for your wedding decorations. Simple can be very elegant.
  3. Lots of acreage. No reception hall? Have your reception on the grounds. White tents, candlelight or lanterns make a beautiful outdoor reception and will accommodate large numbers of guests.
  4. Friendly, accommodating personnel. It means a lot to have people who will help you with your wedding and reception arrangements. Many times small churches have a secretary or pastor's wife who will be your liaison with the church and will help you with your needs.
  5. Cost-effective. Many small churches don't require a huge amount of money to use their facilities, like a city church might.  You can save a lot of money on the venue, while having a quaint, lovely setting for your wedding.

Consider the little country church for your wedding venue. Who knows what rare gems you will find!

Engagement portraits should be more than just photos, and the key to great photos is preparation! Think of everything you and your partner love to do. Maybe you have a certain style, or shared hobby you can play off of. These are just a few suggestions from our great writers at Wedding and Party Network:

PROPS – Use props to create unique engagement photos. Balloons, an umbrella, even an old, colorful couch in the middle of nowhere — all can add interest and character to your photos.

ACTION SHOTS – Instead of your everyday poses, try out some action shots! Do you and your partner love to dance? Why not have your photographer snap some shots as you boogie down!

PETS – Obsessed with pets? Include your kitty or pooch in your engagement photos!

SILHOUETTES – Find a great hill to get silhouette engagement photos against the setting sun. Your shadows in loving embrace against the oranges and pinks of the sunset will create a beautiful and unique photo.

PICTURES OF PICTURES -Take some pics of yourself on your phones or with Polaroids, then take photos of them pushed together. Two kissy-faces photos next to each other make an adorable, yet somewhat geeky engagement photo. (I love it!)

UNDERWATER – Got a destination wedding on your hands? Get underwater photos made! Some of the cutest beach wedding photos I've ever seen show the bride and groom with snorkels, underwater surrounded by colorful fish! Another trending underwater wedding photography technique is using a swimming pool for your backdrop. Use an underwater camera to get amazing, angelic shots.

SHADOWS – Think of cute poses you and your man can do for great shadow photos. These lovely silhouettes come out great when taken against interesting backgrounds. Try a brick wall or wooden fence. Country girls should think of those giant rolled hay bales.

REFLECTION – Are you taking your engagement photos near a lake? Why not peer down into the water and have your photographer take photos of your reflections. This can be especially beautiful in the fall when the leaves are brilliant shades of yellows and reds.

ANGLES – Instead of just holding hands and standing in front of a tree, have your photographer climb into the tree and shoot straight down angle. Using a wide angle will give some wild effects.

Don't forget to combine two or three of these ideas into one great photo! Maybe a photo of you and your partner on an old couch with your pet. There are so many options for great engagement photographs.

I love it when brides and grooms think outside the box–or in this instance, the car. Here's what I mean: Most newly wedded couples leave their wedding reception in the traditional way–a decorated vehicle. But why not consider a few different ways of departing that are unique to the couple? Here are some ideas to get your creativity flowing. Obviously, for some of these, a tuxedo and wedding gown would not be in order!

* Motorcycles – put on your leather and hit the road on a Harley.

* Horse drawn Carriage – depart in romantic style using this old-fashioned mode of transportation.

* Helicopter – they can land anywhere, so take advantage of their versatility and high impact.

* Hot Air Balloon – go up, up, and away in a beautiful, dramatic balloon.

* Speedboat or Jet Ski – if your reception is near water, this would be the coolest way to leave. Swimsuits required, of course.

* Bicycle Built for Two – if you're into cycling, a tandem bike would be great gear for your getaway.

* Horses – re-create Runaway Bride into Runaway Together Bride & Groom.

* John Deere Tractor – if tractors are your thing, you can't beat a Deere!

Your final farewell to wedding guests should be unforgettable–not the status quo. Many couples use all their creativity for the wedding and wedding reception, but forget the last impression they leave. The departure is your final farewell to your guests, so leave them with something to talk about.
