Party favors are such great ideas, not only can you use them as decoration as part of your party, but you can also send them home with your guests. When they use or see it, they'll think about the fabulous party you hosted just for them. Your guests will absolutely love receiving a special party favor from you!
Homemade Treat Just From YOU!
Personalized Holiday Cookies: If you love baking around the holidays, this favor is just for you. Create an adorable gingerbread cookie or sugar cookies that can be personalized towards your event and even your guests. Personalize them with your colors, date and theme or your party. Even go as far as to writing your guests name or initial on the cookies.
There are so many things you can personalize, so take it farther than just the food itself. Personalize the treat bag it comes in too! Even have your local bakery whip up some tasty cookies to serve as party favors. It'll be a tasty treat they can enjoy later at home.
Tasty Desserts: When you think of the holiday season, don't just dream of all the yummy desserts that come along with it? Fudge, peppermint bark, delicious breads, nuts and candy can be easy to make or you can have your caterer create it. The fun part will be how you present it. Wrap the fudge in cute holiday ribbon or present it in a little white box with a simple ribbon.
Even serve up the bread in cute vegetable cans that you buy at the grocery store and create the tin can into something adorable with scrapbook paper you have around the house or visit your local stationery store. If you have old jars or cans around your house, re-purpose them with holiday gift wrap and ribbon. There are so many unique things you can create, from sauces, homemade marshmallows, peanut brittle to spice rubs that your guests will love! If you've served a tasty dessert or used a spice rub on a meat, make extra and serve that up as a tasty party favor.
Holiday Mixes: Another easy and simply party favor are mixes! Mixes can range from anything to soup mixes or dessert mixes. Fill up a glass jar with different dried beans, noodles and spices or fill one up with brownie mix with chocolate chips and nuts. Just attached a personal message and the recipe to go with it. If you are serving a holiday soup, put the ingredients into a jar and let them recreate the magic at home. It's so simple to put together and so simple for your guests to make at home.
Divine Beverages: Are you serving your guests a signature cocktail or holiday punch? Send that home with them too! Again, if you have old jars or even soda bottles around your home, reuse them! Fill it up with apple cider, hot chocolate mix or that special cocktail you concocted. Again, just fill them up with all the ingredients and attach a little recipe card to the bottle. Recycle old holiday wrapping paper or get creative with personalized stickers; make it fit the theme of the party.
Painted Ornaments: Remember the post from yesterday featuring hand-painted wine glasses, well why not paint your own ornaments. You can simply buy them at your local craft store, along with the paint and paintbrush you will need and get to creating. Again, this can serve for two purposes. A beautiful place card setting and a favor that can take home and hang up on their tree.
Paint anything you'd like on it, abstract designs, your guest's name, Christmas tree, ornaments or whatever you like. So simple, you will surely be able to create an adorable ornament for your guests. Plus, to help you along the way, we've created this little Christmas ornament how-to video that shows you how to paint a simple snowflake on an ornament.
