Magic Party

March 4th, 2008 - Posted by Jamie Adams

Magic Party Theme For All Ages.

With the popularity of magicians and illusionists like Chris Angel, many are turning to magicians for party themes and entertainment. A magic theme party is fantastic for most ages.

Magic Theme For Elementary Age Children

Hire a magician who dresses as a clown. Choose party decoration with clowns, decorate with lots of balloons( for added fun hire a clown who makes balloon animal). Have a cake in the shape of a top hat with a bunny coming out of it, or individual cup cakes with pop-rocks on top. Buy some inexpensive paper top hats and fill them up with magic tricks, like magic ball trick or mini deck of cards with mini magic instruction book. If it has to do with magic include it, kids love to try to do the tricks they see - don’t forget to add some pop rocks to the party favor hats. Play disappearing guest (hide n seek) with the children. Have one of the party guests hide while the other children have to find him or her.

Teen or Adult Magic Party

Hire a magician illusionist or hypnotist. Set up a table with a tarot card reader (you can hire one or just get a book and pretend to be a tarot card reader). Send out invitations with the magic theme and you may even want to include magic themed food. Serve disappearing hot dogs, or magical pizza, with a magical punch, you can add dry ice to the punch.

A Magic party is a fun theme and you can choose the type of magician you’d like to make your theme even more special. Illusionists work best for teens and adults, where parlor magicians or sleight of hand magicians work well with younger children.
