It seems like every year when Autumn rolls around, I always get in “party throwing mode”. All I can think about is family and friends, good food, great weather and all of the vibrant colors of the earth that provide such a perfect setting. Throwing a party for a teenager can be a challenge. It is so hard to know what is cool and what isn’t. But almost every teenager loves going to the movies. It isn’t always feasible to take your child and his/her friends to the movies. Instead, bring the movies to your backyard.

Create your own “drive-in” theater in your backyard by renting a movie projector and a screen. Help you teenager pick out a movie that will be fun for everyone.

Send “movie ticket” invitations and have them present the tickets at the door as admission to the movie. Your teenager’s friends will get a kick out of watching a movie on the big screen outside.
