Brian and I have known one another for about 4 years, 2 of those years we were dating. He has always been that person who plans everything, never spontaneous…well up until last New Year’s Eve. So here’s how it happened, every New Year’s Eve my family and I throw this big New Year’s Eve affair. I mean everyone from my friends, co-workers, to distant relatives come to this party! Well, we were all preparing for the count down to begin so I ran to the kitchen to grab Brian and I a glass of wine. Upon my arrival, the count down started and we all shouted out…3.2.1 Happy New Year. Before I knew it, Brian was down on his knee proposing in front of my entire family. I was so excited/emotional that all I could do was cry, cry, cry just barely getting “yes” out. My family and friends were just as happy as I was. Needless to say, that New Year’s Eve was a day I’ll never forget.
