Picture Perfect Proposal

April 11th, 2007 - Posted by Jamie Adams

Submitted by Jordon from Jonesboro Arkansas
Matt and I were on our way to Hot Springs for a day of relaxation. He had planned the day and it was all a surprise to me as to what we would be doing. When we arrived, there was a bit of a mix up on what time our "surprise" started, so we had to piddle around in the shops for a couple of hours before we got to actually go do what he had planned. When 5pm rolled around, we were pulling up to the old train station. We were going on a train ride, that served an amazing dinner. It was a great experience.

On the way home we stopped on the side of the road where there was a lookout. You could see for miles. He said "lets take a picture." Being the picture freak i am i said "ok". He went and set up the camera on the car and at the last minute said "Oh i need to get my hat", (he had bought this creepy safari/ fisher hat at a store there that day, and as he was getting the hat, he got the engagement ring). He came back and right before the picture snapped he got down on one knee and proposed. Today we have the picture of the proposal hanging on the wall in our house. Everyone that comes to our house asks if its real.
