When selecting a dress for the flower girl, chose a dress that resembles the bridesmaids dresses but make sure it is comfortable. The dress should fit properly so the flower girl doesn’t trip over or tug at the dress.  It is acceptable for the flower girl to wear a white dress. Comfortable shoes are important for the flower girl; have the flower girl wear the shoes a couple of times prior to the wedding and at the wedding rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, place the dress on the flower girl at the last minute to avoid spills on the flower girl dress.
