Tips for the Perfect Philadelphia Wedding

October 17th, 2008 - Posted by Jill Evans

There are so many options when it comes to planning your perfect wedding in Philadelphia. Your wedding –and every detail of it—should reflect the two of you and your personalities, styles and preferences.

When deciding on your wedding ceremony site, keep in mind the overall feel you want your wedding to have. The lavish Talamore Country Club, the award-winning formal gardens of The Radnor Hotel, the natural elegance of The French Manor or the outdoor simplicity of The Wedding Chapel are all great venues, but which one has the atmosphere you desire on your wedding day?

The same is true for caterers. With so many amazing caterers in Philly, you have a great variety to choose from to find one that suits your needs, wants and your budget. Make appointments to meet with the caterers and taste their food to determine which one is right for you.

Choosing the right Philadelphia photographer for your wedding is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. When making inquiries about wedding packages, ask for references of others who have used their services—and contact them! Was the photographer and staff easy to work with? Did they listen to their client’s wants and needs or just do their own thing? Did the client feel they got great service and great wedding photos? These are important questions to ask in determining who will record in pictures this most special occasion in your life.
