You can do traditional card’s or CD-Rom invitations (multimedia disks, which play in any computer with a CD-ROM drive, feature interactive presentations including music, a photo slide show, about the upcoming party and the guest of honor; great for a graduation party). To pick just the right invitation, view as many styles as possible. Look for invitations that reflect a direct correlation to your party’s theme.

Every party invitation should include: Who, What, Where and When.

Established purpose of the party
- Name of the Honoree
- Name of the host or hosts, parents (for children’s parties) or sponsors
- Date and time -- Make sure it includes the day of the week, the month, and the year.
- Location the party will be held includeding directions if guest will be traveling
Sending party invitations
Guiledline for mailing out party invitations:

If the party is near a major holiday or formal (anniversary or black tie styles) you’ll need to mail out the invites 8 weeks prior to the event.
- Catered parties, you’ll need the invites out 4-6 weeks prior.
- Informal parties, 2-4 weeks prior
