Types of Orchestras
A full size orchestra is usually fairly large, with a string section, a brass section, a woodwind section, and possibly a percussion section as well. This full-sized orchestra is sometimes referred to as a symphony orchestra. This type of orchestra is reserved for very large, elegant events with hundreds of guests.
