Comment: Piper's is the best place to eat in Truckee. They have the best Gelato on the planet and they have so many flavors that it's hard to choose which one to eat whenever I go in there. It's a very nice place to get some lunch, a glass of wine, and a tasy dessert, whether it be Gelato, cake, cookies or whatever. If you are in Truckee you have to go to Piper's and see what they have cookin.......... You won't be sorry :-)

Comment: I am in Truckee twice a week(at least) and I always stop at Piper's for lunch. They have an excellent selection of salads and sandwiches. I usually order the mozzerella caprese salad and a Turkey pesto panini and I have either Gelato or a lava cake for dessert. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch. Or if you are into the wine scene, then this would be a perfect place for you. They have a HUGE retail wine selection with tons of wine at discount prices (up to 50% off)! There is also a diverse selection of wines by the glass priced from $4-$10. Try 'em sometime......................
