Your Wedding Wednesday Question
Is there a right way to display the guest book for the guest to sign at the wedding reception?
Answer:
First of all, it is not “required” to have a guest book, but it is a nice keepsake to remember all the guests that attended your special day. You can have someone in the wedding party, a close friend, or family member stand by the guest book to remind each guest to sign. Do remember to show your appreciation to this person in some way, maybe by giving them a corsage or boutonniere. The most common way is to have a table at the entrance or at the end of the receiving line at the reception with the guest book. Another option is to have the guest book at a small table at the entrance to the ceremony. This might depend on if you have guests only attending the ceremony, but not the reception or vice versa.
