Couples looking for a traditional wedding in a typical chapel need only travel down South amid gorgeous mountains to the red-bricked Historic Ringgold Wedding Chapel.
Dating back to the 1800s and beginning as an Episcopal Methodist church, the wedding chapel was opened in 1987 by Helen Boyd for future couples to view wedding decor. Soon after, ceremonies were performed at the historic site. Teresa James opened the chapel in 2008 and the building has since served brides and grooms from across the nation.
The venue is located in Ringgold, GA considered to be the wedding capital of the South. It sits at the foot of the Great Smokey Mountains and has hosted celebrities including Tammy Wynette and George Jones. The rolling southern hills and tall, white columns of the chapel add a perfect touch of charm to any wedding.
The beauty of the chapel is indisputable, but what makes it even more special is the all-inclusive packages. If you need an ordained minister or DJ, James' team offers it! Stuck finding a photographer or cake? That's taken care of too. The packages are completely customizable with various add-ons to create a unique experience for each couple. James and her team work with any budget to provide a beautiful ceremony.
The Ringgold Wedding Chapel is also open to any spur of the moment celebration! Non-appointment weddings are allowed for the bride and groom who can't wait a moment longer to become one.
The chapel is also available for other events and parties, such as meetings, luncheons, anniversary parties and bridal showers, proving to be a place where memories can be made by anyone.
The standard of Southern hospitality comes to life at the Historic Ringgold Wedding Chapel, a perfect backdrop for all celebrations of love. James and her staff are ready to assist all couples, whether they decide on a last-minute wedding or extravagant day.
