Am I supposed to buy my bridesmaid’s dresses or should I expect them to purchase it themselves?
Answer:
It is customary for the wedding party members to pick up the tab on their own formal wear. Do let your party know ahead of time about this purchase when asking them to be a part of your special day. If you would like to pay for a fraction or the entire purchase/rental of your wedding party’s outfits, you are welcome to do so if your budget allows. If you can’t fit it in your budget, however, be mindful of your friend’s budgets as well and choose wear that isn’t very costly.
