I love outdoor weddings. There’s just something about the natural beauty of the greenery that makes them so fabulous. Outdoor wedding reception decorations and table centerpieces can be somewhat tricky though, because you don’t want to take away from the natural scenery. The new overall wedding decoration idea trend is “earthy glamorous” and this theme is even more beautiful outdoors.
This can be done using twigs, leaves, containers of grass, and several other resources. Table decorations and centerpiece options are endless with this theme. Long low containers of grass with a simple ribbon tied around the container are very modern and elegant table centerpieces. I also found an idea where small birch twigs that had been lightly sprayed with gold spray paint and sprinkled with gold dust were inserted into a small pot creating the look of a potted tree. You could decorate these however you wish; but, I thought strands of raffia, feathers, and earth toned ornaments would be a good idea to tie in the natural scenery.
Even large vases of water with floating floral arrangements are a good idea for outdoor table decorations, if you want to incorporate fresh flowers. These can be tall or short, or even be arranged as a grouping with many different sizes of vases.
