As the bride, you have leaned on your bridesmaids to help you get through different obstacles to get to the big day. Some have helped plan the bridal shower, the bachelorette party, the lingerie shower, etc. Some have calmed your nerves during stressful times, during planning, meeting with family members, and so much more. Some have even been there to help you plan the wedding. Whatever the case may be, your bridesmaids have been your support system. So, it only makes sense that you thank them in a way that shows your appreciation.
Now, depending on your budget, you can get them somthing extravagant or something more practical. No matter which way you go, you want to keep in mind the personality of each bridesmaid.
1. Something to Use During the Wedding
Many bridesmaids are stretching their wallets to help make your day spectacular. The best surprise a bridesmaid can receive is being told that her dress is paid for or that she has jewelry from you to wear. I’ve been a part of many weddings where the bride gave us earrings, bracelets, hair pieces, etc. to wear during the wedding. This makes those pieces of jewelry so special a bridesmaid.
2. Something to Use While Getting Ready
What some brides take into consideration is that the photographer will take pictures of her and the bridesmaids getting ready. With that thought in mind, you can purchase coordinating bathrobes, oversized button-up, etc. for your bridesmaids to use. Add their monograms on it, and you’ve given them a present that they will get to use over and over!
3. Something They Could Use After the Wedding
Some brides decide to give their bridesmaid something that they can utilize after the wedding. This could be anything from a really cute mug to a watch. These are items that they can take home with them and use daily.
4. Something That Encompasses It All
One gift that would hit all three of these points is a gift box or basket of goodies. You can have lotions, face masks, body spray, tiny bottles of alcohol, nail polish, etc. all included in the basket. These fun items, along with the ones mentioned above, make a wonderful bridesmaid gift that they will absolutely love!
Whichever route you choose to go down, it’s always great to remember to show how thankful you are that your friends are there to stand by your side. Bridesmaids do a lot of work and thanking them will be a great surprise for them!
