My fiancee and I don’t drink, but do we still need to offer alcohol at our reception?
Answer:
Having alcohol at your reception is completely up to you. It can be pricey and there are so many ways you can provide alcohol (cash bar, open bar, etc.). The deciding factor may ultimately be your budget, but if you and your future spouse aren’t big fans of alcohol, you can opt for other drink options. Perhaps you only have enough champagne for the initial toast or, if champagne isn’t your thing, you can toast with sparkling cider. It isn’t necessary to have alcohol at your reception and the decision is ultimately yours!
