Where It All Began

Back in 1993, Busch Gardens was in search of a confetti vendor that could create a volcanic effect where the confetti would stay in the air longer. When innovator, Jim Watkins, heard this he went to work on creating confetti that would fly high in the air and flutter gracefully to create a fantastic effect. After working tirelessly, he finally cut the perfect tissue paper in a great design and won the bid! And so started the company Flutter Fetti!

It didn’t just stop there. Jim went on to create many different products for customers to use at their various events – whether it be for their wedding, concert, or at a stadium. In 2002, the company was sold to CEO, Ronee Homes and she set up a manufacturing plant in New Orleans, Louisisana. However, after the devastation of Katrina, she had to pick up shop and now has a new manufacturing and distribution center in Florida. There she and her confettiologists work hard and cut amazing pieces of confetti that are spellbinding!
