How can we cut our wedding guest list? Our budget only allows for 200, but we’ve already exceeded 250 guests so far.

It’s hard not to feel like you have to invite everyone you know. You want everyone to be included on your special day. However, more guests means the more it costs with everything. First things first, you and your fiance should sit down and divide your guests into two categories. One category includes guests who are must invites that includes your family and close friends. The other category includes everyone else. Go through that category that includes everyone else and ask yourself questions like, are you really that close to that person or when was the last time you actually talked to them. Eliminate people you haven’t had contact with in awhile like old high school or college friends. There are many ways to be reasonable about cutting your guest list down.
