Your Wedding Wednesday Question
Is it okay to have my wedding on a Thursday? The date I want is on a weekday and I don’t want to wait another year so it can fall on the weekend.
Answer:
A weekday wedding isn’t unheard of, especially for the modern brides who opt for a small and intimate affair. However, most choose a date between Friday-Sunday so guests can have the free time to attend the event. A wedding during the week is more difficult to plan around, especially for family members who are travelling. Ultimately it is your decision, but be prepared to have some guests unable to attend–that may be your deciding factor.
