July is the seventh month of the year and one of the seven months that has 31 days in it. It is considerably the warmest month in the Northern hemisphere and the coldest month in the Southern hemisphere. This month was once called Quitilis since it was the fifth month in the Roman calendar.
Birthstone & Flowers
The birthstone for July is the gorgeous ruby. It’s a blood-red colored gem stone which is caused by the presence of chromium. They are simply stunning and would be a great color to merge into any party.
For July’s flower, there are actually two; the larkspur or water-lily. Larkspur is a gorgeous purple flowers, while the water-lily features various colors. Use the larkspur in centerpieces, as well as the water-lily. Fill a vase with water and let the water-lily float in it. These would both make great accents to a party and the colors are vibrant and will go with anything.
