March Madness is here! This is a great time to sit back and enjoy the games with friends and family, so go all out and have a themed party for the occasion. We’ve got some great ideas to get you started, so check out these tips.
Send Game Brackets as Invitations
Invite your guests by sending them game brackets as their invitation to your party. Tell them when and where and to fill out their predictions before they arrive. That way you can begin the fun with a basketball pool! Make sure everyone guesses the winner of each game and what they think the score will be. You can also invite your guests to come with their favorite teams’ jersey on.
Decorations
You can’t go wrong with orange and black decorations; the color of a basketball! Or use the colors of your local team. Decorate with streamers, pom poms, confetti, and whatever else you would like.
Food
For an event like this, food is very important. Make sure you have plenty to go around and even consider making some dishes ahead of time. Try serving food such as chips and dip, sandwiches, casseroles, cheese balls, hot dogs, and hamburgers. For an added touch, you can decorate cupcakes to look like basketballs!
Trivia Game
Before the games begin, have a little trivia game ready to find out who the biggest basketball fan is. Include questions about college basketball like who plays for which team, which team won the championship last year, etc. It’s a great way to get your friends and family ready for the games!
