Start Planning Your Summer Parties

Summer is a time to get the family together and play in the sun. With the kids out of school and the pool open for cannonballs, this is the perfect time of year to throw a party. Whether it's for a celebration or "just because", keep these summer tips in mind to have the best summer party yet.

5 Summer Party Tips:

Keep sunscreen and bug spray on hand for your guests. Bug bites and sunburns aren't what your family and friends want as a party favor.
Be prepared for weather. Hot or rainy, tents and umbrellas are perfect to prepare for any unforeseen circumstance.
Keep food simple. With outside temperatures and activities, snacks and light meals are better than extravagant entrées.
Have activities planned out for both children and adults. Sport equipment or even board games can kill time after lunch before jumping back in the pool.
Don't break the bank. Decorations are fun, but don't go overboard. After a long day of swimming and eating, cleanup will be the last thing on your mind. Make some yourself or get creative with decor you already have.

Summer parties can be fancy or simple, but they shouldn't be stressful. The ultimate goal is to have fun with your loved ones and enjoy the day.
