With fall here, it's time to start planning all your fall parties. You have the perfect backdrop for beautiful outdoor parties now with the gorgeous colors and the amazing weather. So, what is the perfect pairing to your fall party? Of course, the delicious food you serve. Food during this time of year is simply tasteful. Wedding and Party Network has our top picks for yummy fall treats that will be a hit at your next party.

Fall Appetizers

Cheese Board – The first thing you need is a great cutting board. Either choose a wooden one or they even make chalkboard cutting boards, which is  a fun way to display the cheese and tell what kind they are eating. Next, find the meat, cheese bread and cracker you would like to serve for your fall party. You can even dress up the cutting board by adding dollops of jelly and mustard around the board and garnishing it with basil leaves.

Pumpkin Cheeseball -An adorable way to display a cheeseball. Stick to your recipe and just shape it into a pumpkin and even add a stem and a basil leave on top with crackers scattered around it.

Soup – Of course, during the cooler months, the ideal food is soup. However, you may think it's difficult to eat at a party. It doesn't have to be. First off, serve it up in a pumpkin. How great is that? Next, to make it easier, serve it in mason jars where your guests can walk with it and sip on it.

Fall Desserts

Miniature Pies – Miniature pies are simply adorable and when you think of fall desserts, pies immediately come to your mind. It's the time for pecan and pumpkin pies! These are great desserts that are easy to pop in your mouth. No one wants to try and mingle while eating a piece of pie. Miniature pies can literally be popped in your mouth. You can even get more creative by putting them on a stick!

Candy Apples -Of course, when you think of fall, you think about the carnivals and festivals that you will be attending. Along with that, you'll also think about the candy apples that you get at them. Candy apples are great to have at your party and are so much fun. Create a candy apple bar that lets everyone dip it in chocolate or caramel and let them pick their toppings.

Cupcakes – These are also great to serve at any party. Create pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting or even a candy apple cupcake. Just pick your favorite fall flavors and turn it into a cupcake!

Fall is a great time for delicious appetizers and desserts. You can incorporate the fall flavors into each item. That way, your guests will get a feel of fall in each bite. Simply delicious!

Halloween is coming up, and so is your Halloween party. Therefore, you should start planning. Do you have in mind what you want to do for party decorations and the activities that you will do? What about the food? These are all key elements to think about when planning your Halloween party. However, do you need a little direction to start planning? Wedding and Party Network has some great ideas for your ghoulish party menu.

Mummy Rolls – This is a great party food for everyone! All you need are hot dogs, crescent rolls and candy eye balls and wrap the crescent roll around the hot dog to look like a mummy. However, you can also use bread dough, Nutella and candy eye balls too. Wrap the brad up in a braid and ice the face on with Nutella and place the eyeballs on. Therefore, you have an appetizer and a dessert.

Graveyard – Graveyard themed food is a must at your party. There are great ideas to create this. One great idea is to take individual small cups and put black pudding and top it off with Oreo cookie crumbs with a cookie that is shaped like a gravestone that has "RIP" iced on it. These make great individual snacks and can be picked up and finished in a few bites. Also, you can bake a cake, pipe icing on top to look like grass and place headstones all around the cake with your guest's names written on each one. Rice krispy treats topped with some green color coconut, candy pumpkin and a gravestone is also a great idea.

Pumpkin Food - Of course, every party needs something pumpkin related. Place carrot sticks on a platter and have the carrots represent the shape of a pumpkin with green dip as the step. Cheese pumpkins are such a great idea. All you take is cheese, roll it into the shape of a pumpkin, place a pretzel stick and parsley on top. Such a cute idea! Place soup in a pumpkin, create a pumpkin cake or cupcakes and don't forget to use the pumpkin as a drink cooler.

Eyeballs -Eyeball cupcakes in a red jello cauldron, eyeball cupcakes, eyeball punch, fruit eyeball Oreo pops and even eyeball pasta are just some ideas that create this eerie treat. For the eyeball pasta, just take spinach pasta noodles, red spaghetti sauce and create the eyeballs out of tofu, green olives and peppercorns. What a treat that will be for the children, plus it sneaks in some spinach and tofu into their meal. Oreo pops are simple. All you take is an Oreo, dip it in white chocolate and place a candy ring in the center and enjoy!

Skeleton -Skeletons are fun to create for Halloween. First find a small bowl and fill it up with vegetable dip and that is the head of your skeleton. Next, take vegetables of your choosing, just make sure they're cut length wise and place them to look like a skeleton. This is just a cute way to display your vegetables.

Body parts -When you think of Halloween, you always think of gory body parts being part of your Halloween decorations. So, why not include them in your party menu? Take a bowl with vegetable dip, long carrots and almonds to create a spooky dip. Just fill the bowl with dip, take a paring knife and shape the carrots into fingers and place the slivered almonds on the carrot as a finger nail and place the carrot fingers in the dip.

You can also make fingers out of sandwiches. Just roll out the bread with a rolling-pin, spread on cream cheese or butter and roll up, make indention with a butter knife to replicate a finger and place an almond on as the finger nail.

These are just a few ideas. However, there are limitless possibilities when planning your menu for your Halloween party. Create witch's brooms out of pretzel sticks and peanut butter cups, spider cupcakes, bones, knife cupcakes, ghost pizza, monster marshmallows and even spiderweb pretzels. Just get creative with it and your party will be a success!

Earth Day is April 22 this month and what better way to spread the word than with a party. This day is to celebrate and bring appreciation to the Earth. Everyone has busy lives, but it is nice to stop and remind yourself about the Earth and all it's glory. Environmental awareness is growing, therefore, so is the importance of this day. So, if you are into becoming more eco-friendly and would like to help get your friends and family involved, host an Earth Day party! Wedding And Party Network is here to give you a few tips that will make this party theme a success.

Party Invitations – Send out e-vites! This is the most environmentally friendly way to send out party invitations. Most everyone has access to the web and check it quite often. Therefore, sending out party invitations through email would be a great idea for Earth Day. Save paper!

Party Decorations- For party decorations, make sure everything is recyclable. Everything has to be eco-friendly for Earth Day. First off, make sure you have recycle bins placed out for all your guests to see how important it is to recycle. Plus, it serves as part of your party decorations.

Go with a blue and green color scheme to represent the earth and water. Create informational posters (on recycled paper, of course) with recycling information and important facts about the earth. Let them know how and where they can drop it off or when pick up day is for recycled items. Just be informative throughout your party decorations.

"Green Food" - Are you asking yourself, how can I incorporate Earth Day into the party food? Well, it's easy. Think fresh and local. The spring weather has lots of fruits and vegetables in full force, so use what's in season. Keep it light and refreshing. However, the most important thing is where you buy your food from. If you have a local farmers market, choose them to buy your produce and meat from. If you buy it locally, you're supporting your community. Visit your local caterer to come up with delicious appetizers and suggestions on where to buy around your town.

What To Do -So, what do you do at an Earth Day part? If you are doing this for the kids, there are lots of fun party games out there for them that incorporates with this theme well. Do a recycled relay. Separate the children into groups and give them a pile of recycled items. They must then take turns running down to the recycle bins that you place out and sort the items into the right bins. Whoever finishes first, wins.

Another game that you can incorporate into your party is recycled crafts. After the relay is over, give them everything they recycled and let them get creative and come up with a fun craft. Anything to make them aware of recycling and what it does to help our earth is a plus!

When hosting your Earth Day party, it doesn't have to big extravagant. You just need to focus on the importance of the Earth. So, keep it minimalistic. The main focus for this party is the Earth. Stop and remember how truly important it is to you and everyone around you. Plus, Earth Day parties are so much fun for everyone!

Footballs flying, flags being thrown, tackles happening left and right and whistles blowing are all the signs of football season. Combine all that with spotlighted halftime performances and belly laughing commercials and you have all the elements of the Superbowl! Delicious food, drinks, games and laughs are just the makings of a great Superbowl Party. However, you've done that year after year and you want to switch it up a bit. Oh, but what will make your party different? Let Wedding and Party Network help with this fun and unique football themed party that you and your guests will enjoy!

What makes this Superbowl party different from the rest? Well, you and your guests will make create a Superbowl party of your own. Okay, we all know that football has quarters…maybe. And you always have food at your party, right? Well, combine those two together. Create a Superbowl for food. Have your guests create food dishes, such as appetizers, main courses and desserts to compete against each other. A head-to-head challenge is perfect for football season.

The Game Plan

So, how does this work? First off, have everyone attending the party create 3 types of dishes, appetizers, main course and a dessert. However, if they only wanted to prepare one, that is fine too. Serve appetizers during the first half of the game, main courses during halftime and the dessert should be served during the last half of the game.

Create rating cards for each course. Have each dish on the rating cards with a rating scale from 1-10 or 1-5, whatever you prefer. Each of your guests will taste each dish and rate it on their card. At the end of the game, you can tally up the scores to see which dish has the highest rating. That dish is the winner. For the winner, you should come up with something to give them. A trophy would be fun. Every year your guests will be fighting over that trophy! It will become a fun tradition.

Strategic Party Set Up

Okay, now that everyone knows the rules of the game you can go ahead and set up for your party. What tables should you offer your guests and what type of themed decorations should you hang up in your house? Choose a long table to set all the food on, you can find a green table-cloth and create white lines on it for a football field look. You could even take it as far as making goal posts at the ends of the table. How cute would that be! Your local party store will be filled with football decorations so you can stick with the usual football centerpieces, balloons and streamers. Since your party has a unique twist to it, you won't need to go all out on your decorating.

The Food Line Up

It's 5 minutes till kickoff for the game and your Superbowl food challenge. At the time of kickoff, start setting out those appetizers for people to try. Buffalo wings, dips, cheese ball, salsa or roll ups are just some of the things you might find for appetizers. All these sound so delicious and yummy, but make sure you're not too full to carry on to the main course!

For the main course, you'll find chili, tasty hamburgers, pizza burgers, ribs, mashed potatoes or pasta salads will all look great on your football themed party table. There will be so much delicious food on that table that your guests won't know where to begin or what to choose. They'll all want to rate every dish 5 stars. However, there must be a winner.

Desserts will be a cinch! You can come up with football themed cupcakes, such as footballs, cheerleading ones or even referee themed cupcakes. How great do those sound! Also, people may create mini cheesecakes, turtle brownies, football shaped cookies  or a football themed cake. All of these sound so yummy that you may be breaking those New Year's resolutions for just one day.

Basically, you'll just need to provide 3 dishes and possibly some drinks for the guests. You may want to get with a party caterer to help you come up with creative drink ideas. However, they can't help you with your food dishes since it is a competition. Your guests may not like that too much. Serve party punch, green cocktails featuring a football swivel stick or stick with traditional drinks. However, give each one a fun name like Touchdown, False Start, Punt or Interception. Even though they maybe traditional drinks, the football themed name will make them so much better.

With a fun party theme, tasty food and the Superbowl; you'll have all the elements of a great football party! Everyone will love rating each others food and especially winning the challenge. It will definitely become a football tradition. Get those game plans ready and be ready to take over the competition!

When we think of New Years, we think of lavish parties all decked out in our most fabulous dresses. Then the price comes to mind. However, it doesn't have to be that way! Don't let your mind trick you into thinking that the word budget means a cozy night in on the couch watching the ball drop. That sounds so cozy, but if you're looking for a lavish New Year's Eve party on a budget; it can be done. With these helpful party tips, you and your guests will have an absolute fabulous time on New Years.

An Amazing Budget Setting

First, pick your theme color. Then go from there. It'll help you be organized in the search for other great party decorations. Another tip you might find useful, pick a flower that's in season. Buy stems from your local florist and use those as decorations. Nothing extravagant, the bud of the flower in a small vase. So simple, yet extremely elegant. Plus, doing something simple cuts down on the cost of having an extravagant centerpiece.

Are you in need of plates, tables and linens?  Important phrase to remember, use what you have! You have tables or even those fold out tables will work to set your appetizers and drinks on. Just cover it with an elegant table linen accompanied with beautiful table accents. You probably have serving pieces or you could borrow some, so use those. Just make sure it's within your color scheme. What about plates and drinkware? You could always go the disposable route, however, why not rent from your local party rental store. This just makes it easier and will save you many trips. However, you may want to divide your budget accordingly if you decide to rent.

Now you need party decorations. Again, use what you have. Candle holders, candelabras, baskets, vases, Christmas ornaments, candles and plants will offer wonderful party accents. Candles always make for an elegant setting so use lots of those. Fill vases with beautiful Christmas ornaments, which serves as a great table centerpiece. The main key for your party decorations is to use what you have around the house. Re-purpose items or get crafty. Use glitter to accent your party or feathers.

Don't forget about the music and lighting. Just by dimming the lights you'll be able to create an elegant setting. Plus, burn a cd of today's hottest hits and oldies. Something that everyone will enjoy dancing the night away to.

Melt In Your Mouth Delicious Party Food

Since you've saved on your party decorations, you can divide more of your budget to the food. However, you may not have to if you've mastered the art of appetizers. Bruschetta, vegetable crudites, cheese and crackers and meatballs are extremely easy, yet elegant. Plus, even though these are basic foods, you can always dress them up in unique ways.

Use unique cheeses or different sauces that no one has ever tried before. You could always ask your close friends to bring something over too. If you're providing the site and all the decorations, they'd surely be glad to help out with the food. This gives everyone the chance to try something different and add to their recipe books.

Skip out on serving a variety of desserts. At midnight serve a cute little doughnut or chocolate truffle to satisfy their sweet tooth. Therefore, you aren't buying a tone of items at the store and you will have more time to mingle at your party. Just a simple and unique idea on serving desserts.

Another option? Have it catered! Find a local party caterer that can give you tips on what appetizers to serve. They'll have lots of ideas that you've never tried before. This doesn't always have to be expensive, just get a few appetizers. Your guests will be plenty satisfied with the delicious food they are offered.

One of the most important things on this night has to be the drinks. Again, stay within your budget my having a byob (bring your own beer/alcohol) or create a signature drink for the night. Just buy in bulk, saves you from having to run around and buy a variety of items and making sure you have enough of each thing. Give your signature drink a unique name. A unique touch to your party.

Another tip, buy in advance. If you know you're planning on throwing a party in advance, go ahead and stock up. Buying a little at a time is easier than buying all your needs in one trip.  However, if you really want to stay easy, stick to wine or just beer. However, the signature drink idea sounds so cute!

These party tips will help you stay within your budget. Ignore the meaning of that word when it comes to mind, which might be a boring party. You know what? You can throw an absolute fabulous New Year's Eve party on a budget. You and your guests will have an amazing time and create a memory that will last a lifetime.

Beautiful Detailing

Invitations: Keep them simple and elegant. An elegant invitation with embossed detailing will be absolutely lovely. If you choose to do a simple brown invitation with orange writing, that would be great too. A nice, classic engagement party invitation will be ideal for this event.

Table Decorations: It's Autumn, right? Well keep with that theme and think rustic chic. The table setting should be elegant, yet rustic. Have your local florist create simple, Fall centerpieces or find vintage bottles and fill them with a single flower. Place small tea light candles out on the table as a great accent to your flowers. You could also set apples or small pumpkins out too.

Another great way to create a unique table setting is to pick a bold patterned tablecloth. Browns, oranges, pinks or golds will be great colors in a tablecloth. It just makes it more fun. You can keep the plates simple to let the pattern speak for itself. The dinner plates should be simple & white. You could even switch it around, have bold plates and a simple tablecloth.

Place settings are another fun idea to create a glamorous tablescape. Wrap the guest's utensils up with twine and attach a cute place setting card to it. How about a decadent candy apple with the guest's name on it. It serves as a tasty place setting, but also a party favor they enjoy back home.

Ambrosial Bites

Meal For Everyone: A sit down dinner would be a great setting for this event. It will give the guests of honor a time to enjoy everyone's company. When planning the meal, keep everyone in mind. There are great dinners out there that everyone does enjoy. One idea that comes to mind is pasta.

Create a pasta bar! Have your party caterer create different pastas and different sauces so everyone can pick their favorite and even let them pick their favorite meat and vegetables to go in it. Get with your party caterer and they'll have lots of creative pasta dishes. So elegant and simple, just serve your guests in fun and unique shaped serving bowls and there you go.

And, for dessert? Serve up mini desserts. Everyone may be a little stuffed from the rich and hearty pasta that just a tiny bite of something to refresh their pallet would be ideal. Mini lemon drops, cake pops, mini cheesecakes or even small puff pasty's will be great for dessert. Just something small, yet ambrosial that your guests can pop in their mouth. Your expertise baker can come up with something yummy!

An engagement party doesn't have to be a big showing, just a great time with good friends celebrating the joining of two friends. An elegant setting with delicious food will be just the thing to create a relaxing mood, while everyone enjoys your great hosting skills.

While the freezing weather has yet to hit us, lets all enjoy being outside while we still can! Being outdoors is a great place to enjoy memorable times with friends and family and to host unique parties. For the Fall weather, host a small get together that is warm and cozy. What better way to do this? Host a dinner and a movie party! This is a great setup to share with close friends and family and will give you a few hours to relax and take a break from everyone's hectic lives. Here are a few ideas & tips to help you along the way.

The Smallest Details Create The Party

"It's all in the details," is so true. Even the smallest details can give your party an extra punch, so make sure to go all out and not miss a step. This party theme should be for close friends and family members — a smaller get together. It'll give you guys time to relax and catch up on the details of their lives. First is first:

Invitations: You're sure to find themed invitations at your local stationery store so these won't be a problem since there are invitations for every party theme out there. If you're crafty, create them yourself.

A cute popcorn bucket, ticket stub or even a miniature movie screen would be ideal for this affair. Use the words featuring, which should be the movie title, and co-starring should be all the details of the party. Setting the theme from the beginning is a must.

Movie, Time & Location: Pick an oldie but goodie, those movies never go out of style and everyone still enjoys them. Think of a movie that you could watch a million times, but never get tired of. Timing is a big part of this party. It should be dark enough to give it that movie-setting feel and where you can actually view the movie outside.

The time will all depend on when the sun goes down at your house. Finally, the location should be outside in your backyard since there is so much fun stuff you can do. However, bringing the party inside won't slow you down either.

Party Props: Create a movie poster featuring all the details of the party and point them in the right direction is such an easy task. However, it will just add that much more to your party theme. Since Fall is here, so are hay bales. Are you thinking of it?  Yes, a great movie seat! Set a couple blankets out with them and voila, there you have it.

A great movie seating arrangement. You could even throw big pillows and blankets around to make it even more cozy. A movie outside requires a white sheet or screen and projector to play the movie on. However, if you don't have these items, you can always bring the party inside. Such fun party props to complete your dinner & a movie theme night.

Movie Theme Decorations: Since it's an outside party, think rustic. You have the bales of hay, now just add little details such as pumpkins of different colors and sizes and simple flowers. You don't need much, just keep it simple and cozy with your party theme decorations.

Oh My, Party Food: Of course, you need a concession stand. Get a wagon or a table to serve the food. Popcorn is a must and should be served out of popcorn bags or even brown paper bags. Think of oldie but goodie candy. Tootsie rolls, Hersheys, Twizzlers or milk duds will be a great. Serve them out of paper bags too. Tie stuff up in twine, it will keep with the rustic vibe. Such cute and yummy party food!

Even get creative with your beverages. Serve your drinks out of mason jars. You can even create a hot chocolate bar to warm your guests up with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, whipped topping and marshmallows. Mmm, delicious apple cider would be a great way to warm up too.

This party is a fantastic get together to plan with friends and family. Enjoying each others company with this fun and cozy party theme is a great time for the Autumn weather.

Summer is finally here! School's out and it's time for a vacation! You probably wont get to see your friends much, so what better way to catch up on things and have a good time than by throwing a summer pool party! It's time to do some planning and make a few phone calls.

When it comes to summer, the main thing most teens focus on is going to shop for that perfect swimsuit. With that in mind, what better reason to throw the ultimate summer pool party? Who doesn't think about going to the tropics for a summer vacation getaway? How about creating your own tropical paradise at home!

Decorations- Here comes the most fun part to throwing any party. Being a tropical paradise theme you want to think outside of the box to make this a very memorable summer party. Let's begin with the back yard, since it is a major part of this party. Putting up a couple of inflatable palm trees around the pool area would definitely give the party a more tropical feel. Setting up 2 or 3 picnic tables around the yard could be used for eating, or even to set some exotic tropical centerpieces on top. This party is more than likely to last through the night. A creative, inexpensive idea would be to buy a few mini beach bucket tea light holders. Setting these throughout the pool area or the backyard would definitely lighten up the place. Now for the pool, just throwing in a few beach balls and a few pool rings would do the trick.

Entertainment- To help your guests work up an appetite for delicious tropical party foods, the right party games and activities are necessary. Here are some ideas that might interest you and be fun for your friends too.

Music- Playing reggae music, beach songs, or the songs you know your friends like would be perfect for this tropical party.
Limbo Contest- Who doesn't love to limbo? Having a limbo contest would keep the fun times going.
Beach Games- Some beach games to include could be volleyball or even water fights.

These are all activities your friends are sure to enjoy.

Food- Of course, no party is complete with out a delicious food menu. This being a tropical paradise party, exotic foods is what comes to mind. You could start off by giving an appetizer, some sizzling chicken skewers, this would only get them ready for whats coming next. A very exotic main dish idea would be to cook a pan-grilled salmon with pineapple salsa. How much more exotic can it get! Finally, for dessert cooking up a key lime pie will leave your friends full, but satisfied.

Voila! You have thrown an unforgettable pool party. Your friends had a blast and are sure to be waiting for another one. Be thinking on how to throw your next summer party, and by the looks of it, it's sure to come soon!
